· Heavy rain is possible this morning making it a first alert day.

· Chance of rain is 100% with around 0.5-1″ possible.

· Skies are mostly cloudy Thursday with mid to upper 50s.

· Mostly cloudy Friday with a 40% chance of showers and highs in the upper 60s.

· Saturday we warm up into the upper 70s. But a cold front brings a better chance of rain overnight into Sunday morning.

First Alert Weather Story:

This morning is a first alert as heavy rain and showers moves into the region. Some of the rain could be heavy at times with ponding on roadways possible. Around a half inch to an inch of rain is possible. Chance of seeing precipitation is around 100%. Highs today will be in the upper 50s and we dry up into the afternoon. In fact expect some sunshine by the late afternoon.

Tonight temps dip as skies clear up, we are in the mid 30s Thursday morning. A warm front is approaching from the southwest and this will create some clouds for us by the afternoon with mostly cloudy skies. Highs are in the upper 50s.

The warm front passes through the region Friday and that warms us up to around 67 by the afternoon. Skies are cloudy and there’s a 40% chance of some showers.

Saturday morning should be dry, but by the afternoon and especially the evening the chance of rain goes up to 50%. Even a 70% chance of rain is possible overnight into Sunday morning as a cold front pushes in.

This cold front knocks our temps back down. Aside from some morning showers expect skies to clear by the afternoon. Lows are in the mid 40s and highs reach the mid 50s.
