Tonight: A few showers and isolated storms are possible. The threat for any storm to be severe in eastern Iowa is low. The humidity level increases so the low temperatures tonight will not be as cool as they were this morning. Lows tonight only fall to near 60. The wind is light from the south.
Wednesday: Clouds clear in the morning and leave the rest of the day mostly sunny. It starts to feel like summer again with highs warming into the 80s. The gusty southwest wind (10-20 mph) helps increase the humidity level.
Wednesday Night: The humidity level continues to increase and as a result the low temperatures only drop into the mid to upper 60s. Clouds increase through the night. There is a small chance of a shower/storm as we get close to sunrise.
Thursday: Showers and storms are expected. Some of the storms in the late afternoon and evening could be severe. The humidity level is going to be high with dew points near 70. Air temperatures are near 80. There is also a potential for some localized flash flooding with some of the storms. Stay updated on the forecast for more details as this day gets closer.
