Traffic on a major Lancaster County interchange has been affected by a Wednesday morning crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer, police said.
Manheim Township police said the entire ramp from Route 30 east to Route 222 north is closed because of the crashed tractor-trailer, which is blocking the roadway.
All Route 30 eastbound traffic hoping to merge onto Route 222 north is being diverted to the next interchange at the New Holland Pike.
Police said the ramp will be closed for an “extended period of time” while crews clean up the scene.
Heavy delays are expected, and police encourage commuters to take alternate routes. Manheim Township police plan on releasing more information as it becomes available.
