Winds could top out at around 35 mph around Puget Sound and even a little stronger near the coast or farther north.
The strongest winds are expected between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. with the wind settling down by the evening.
Some areas around Puget Sound are experiencing power outages Saturday afternoon. There is an outage in Woodinville affecting around 95 customers as of 2 p.m. due to downed power lines.
Puget Sound Energy said there is also an outage in Poulsbo affecting around 2,359 customers as of 2 p.m.
In the mountains, periods of snow will occur with a few inches of snow at Stevens Pass and the potential for snow at Snoqualmie Pass.

NEXT WEEK
Monday: This could actually be a fairly quiet day with some clouds and sunshine. But a few showers could be around.
Tuesday: Rain is likely to return, and it’ll probably be pretty windy too. Right now, it doesn’t look like we’ll have a major wind event, though we’ll be watching the forecast models closely over the next few days in case a low pressure center develops and gets close to Western Washington.
Mid-week and beyond: Unfortunately, while it looked like we could get some drying, the forecast models are now pointing at continued soggy weather with rain at times. The risk of landslides due to excessive rainfall will continue to increase.
