Heavy snow possible: Northeast Ohio’s Wednesday weather forecast - cleveland.com

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Overnight snow showers will continue on through Wednesday morning across most of Northeast Ohio with the potential for some areas to see four inches or more of snow by the time the storm has passed.

The National Weather Service’s forecast calls for highs only in the middle 30s with winds of up to 15 mph. Snow will transition to rain in the afternoon as temperatures warm and could convert back to light snow late Wednesday night. Thursday morning could again see a mix of light snow and rain, but little additional accumulation is expected.

Hazardous weather outlook

The NWS has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from midnight tonight through 10 a.m. Wednesday for Cuyahoga, Lorain, Lake, Ashtabula, Geauga and Medina counties. Heavy snowfalls are also possible in the Akron-Canton area, although those counties are not part of this Advisory.

Extended forecast for Northeast Ohio

Highs Thursday will climb back into the 40s and the area could see highs again near 60 on Friday accompanied by a return of sunny skies.
