Hurricane Henri Update- 8/21/21 2PM
Residents are advised to prepare for Hurricane Henri, which is expected to impact Farmington on Sunday morning, August 22nd. Here are some things you can do to prepare:
- Bring in lawn furniture, umbrellas, canopies, or anything that can blow away and cause damage
- Gas your vehicles
- Charge your devices
- Stock up on non-perishable food and water
- Make sure your pets have enough food for several days
- Have a radio, flashlights, and batteries handy
Power outages are expected and the Town anticipates opening an emergency shelter. More information, including the location of the emergency shelter, will be forthcoming. Please continue to check this page for the latest updates.
