BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Crews are working to put out a heavy fire at a home on East Utica Street in Buffalo, early Friday morning.
The fire started some time around 2 a.m. at 57 East Utica Street, between Main Street and Michigan Avenue.
The fire chief at the scene tells 7 Eyewitness News that the fire caused roughly $150,000 in damage at the three-unit home, burning a staircase and car outside the home.
One of those units was occupied, but it's unclear if it was occupied at the time of the fire.
Fire officials say the fire was stubborn due to walls inside the building.
The cause of the fire is still unclear at this time, and the fire is still burning as of 4 a.m.
This is a developing story.
