The sheriff’s office identified the two people as Timothy Tyler, 46, of Baton Rouge, and Jennifer Doiron, 46, of Denham Springs. They were both arrested and booked into East Feliciana Parish Prison.

According to the sheriff’s office, several vehicles, three utility trailers, a dirt bike, and firearms were reported as stolen from a mostly unoccupied home in Jackson, La., that was in secession following the death of its owner several years prior.

Most of the 10 structures on the 100-plus acre property had been burglarized in the couple of weeks since anyone had been to the property, added the sheriff’s office.

The Baton Rouge Police Department is assisting in the recovery of those items, so the scene that’s playing out on Camellia Avenue is not violent but it’s just taking a heavy police presence to recover all of the items.
