The new single announces his debut album Knoxville House due February 2022.

Long Island’s Constantine Anastasakis—a.k.a. Blonder—has returned today with a new distortion-heavy track appropriately called “Heavy.” A warped guitar that has the wonky elasticity of an irritated rubber band weaves through collisions of more angered guitar fuzz. Anastasakis asks seemingly unrelated questions about making plans, empathy, and rockstars: “Do you believe in rockstars, honey? / They don’t do what you think they do?” His voice is weighted with cinderblocks of cynicism.

It’s a glorious and gloomy guitar-centered track that announces Blonder’s debut album Knoxville House, which was recorded last October in East Nashville over the course of three weeks with engineering by John MacCallum and co-production by Maxwell Drummey (Lauryn Hill, Steve Albini).
