On and off light rain through the night will transition to a heavier rain this morning. Around an inch of total rain is likely before coming to an end around midday. Mostly cloudy but mild conditions are expected this afternoon with high temperatures reaching the middle 60s this evening. A cold front brings more showers and storms to the area tonight through Friday. Temperatures fall from the 50s Friday morning to the 40 by the afternoon.
We’ll dry out for the first half of the weekend. Skies should be partly cloudy and Saturday, but temperatures only reach the middle 40s. The next storm system moves in on Sunday. Precipitation Sunday should be mainly rain, but some snow may mix in, especially north of Milwaukee. Cooler than normal conditions continue next week, with another chance for a wintry mix on Tuesday. It seems as if we skipped right to November.
