Future, Current And Former Buffs Set To Compete At Colorado Women's Open - CUBuffs.com

BOULDER — The University of Colorado women's golf program will be represented well at the 26th CoBank Colorado Women's Open at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club in Denver, June 3-5, with future, current and former Buffaloes competing.
 
Two of those entered will be playing for CU this fall. Hailey Schalk (Erie, Colo.) will be a freshman after graduating this past May from Holy Family High School and Kelsey Webster (Boulder, Colo.) will be a junior. Schalk is paired with former Buff Jenny Coleman, who will be returning to the LPGA Tour this July, while Webster will be playing with Kristin Coleman.
 
Three more CU graduates will also be competing in the strong field. They are Brittany Fan, Erin Houtsma and Natalie Vivaldi.
 
The 54-hole event is set up on the 6,421-yard, par-72 course at the Green Valley Ranch Golf Club. Play is scheduled to start at 7 a.m., Wednesday and Thursday with 18 holes of play each day. Following the first 36 holes, the 156 player field will be cut to the low 40% of individuals and teams plus ties. The final round will begin on Friday, June 5, at 7:30 a.m. and will be followed by an awards presentation at 3 p.m. Fans can follow live stats here.
