Delaware State Police and other first responders have descended on Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear after receiving calls about at least one person shot though possibly more victims, according to the police radio.
Delaware Online/The News Journal has not been able to confirm the reports of a shooting, but police radio is reporting one patient as been taken from the cemetery by ambulance.
One other person may have been killed, according to the radio. There also was mention of a shooter not being found.
This was reported about 10:30 a.m. Friday.
Delaware State police are at the scene, tweeting just before 10:50 a.m. that there is "heavy police activity" on Chesapeake City Road in Bear. Police are telling motorists to avoid the area.
