City announces new heavy item pickup dates
GREENFIELD — The city of Greenfield has announced the tentative reschedule dates for picking up heavy items.
The new dates will be June 18-20 for residents east of State Road 9 and June 25-27 for residents west of State Road 9. Residents are asked to have their items to the curb in front of their residence by the Thursday of their scheduled week. The city will not pick up in alleys or easements.
At this time, the dates are tentative, meaning if Gov. Eric Holcomb changes the state’s reopening guidelines, it could affect the dates again. If there are any changes, the city will inform residents as quickly as possible.
Unapproved items include trash or trash bags of any kind; wet paint; building materials like drywall, wood, tile etc.; televisions and computer monitors; limbs, trees, bushes, etc.; tires; batteries; and all items not within city limits.
