Heavy police presence reported at Regency Court - WJXT News4JAX

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says they roped off the Regency Court parking lot Sunday night following an incident near the UPS store located at 9378 Arlington Expy.

JSO deputies and Jacksonville Fire Rescue converged in the shopping center at around 8:00 p.m. as hundreds waited in line to enter the Sk8 City Fun Zone for a concert.

Sk8 City Fun Zone is located on the same strip mall as the UPS store where police responded.

Witnesses told News4Jax they heard gunshots, which caused the crowds to run away from the concert venue and into the parking lot. This has not been confirmed by JSO.

No injuries have been reported so far.

JSO is at the scene investigating the incident. We will update you on air and online as soon as we know more.
