David “Bud” Clark Current, 81, of Callahan, Fla., passed away July 26, 2020.
Bud was born July 29, 1938 in Glenwood, Mo. to Ray Current and Edna Baugher Current. Bud had been a resident of Nassau County since 1977. Bud served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. He served two tours in the Vietnam War. Bud was a member of the Fleet Reserve, American Legion, VFW, and Vietnam Veterans.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, M. Carol Stogdill Current.
Bud is survived by his daughter, Anna Michelle Current of Callahan; sons, David Douglas Current of Boulogne, Fla. and Richard Current of Callahan; grandchildren, Chanci Current, Dwayne Current, Shawnee (Juan) Ramirez, and David Current; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2020 at Jones Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Nassau Funeral Home.
