The First Warning team has declared Wednesday an Alert Day, with a round of rain and wind arriving by noon. Some wind gusts could reach as high as 45mph.
Winds from the south will push the temperature into the mid-50s.
The rain could be heavy at times during the afternoon. There could even be a rumble of thunder.
The wind shifts to the northwest by the evening, causing temperatures to drop dramatically into the 30s and upper 20s overnight.
The rain will change over to a little snow, especially in the higher elevations, as temperatures fall quickly before precipitation ends.
